Robotic Club - In school time and before school classes.
“Hands on Minds on Technology!”
By teaching coding and programming in schools from an early age, it is widely believed that students will acquire the skills
necessary to create, design and adapt technology to meet future needs.
Students are fascinated by these machines that do exactly what you tell them to do. The skill sets that students pick up from
building robots can easily be transferred to careers and professions in our emerging industry.
Each week students will test their newfound skills in building and programming. When students actively construct things in the
physical world, it helps them to build understanding in their own minds.
Students retain more of what they learn from this creative process of this kind. This is called learning by making.
Parents should consider preparing their children with material that is interesting and relevant to engineering careers that are in high demand.

The key concepts are:
Developing their design skills by conceptualising algorithms as a sequence of steps for carrying out instructions.
Design and build a robotic device and identifying steps in a process of controlling robotic devices.
Creating a range of digital solutions through guided play and integrated learning.
